	FIA Focus: "God's Country?" May 13, 2008 In its September/October 2006 issue, Foreign Affairs journal published "God's Country?", a major article on evangelicals and foreign policy by eminent scholar Walter Russell Mead. The Review of Faith & International Affairs responded in its Winter 2006 issue with a special collection of seven commentaries on the article, as well as a reply by Mead.

A symposium at Georgetown University evaluating the last decade of religious freedom policy. It is the second in a series of three symposia in 2008 on "Religious Freedom and U.S. Foreign Policy: Taking Stock, Looking Forward," co-organized by CFIA and the Berkley Center.

IGE's Council on Faith & International Affairs co-sponsors a February 25 symposium at Georgetown University entitled, "Why Religious Freedom?: The Origins and Promise of U.S. International Religious Freedom Policy."
